411 N University Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76107  is the cemetery address.

'Joyce was in the hospital recovering from surgery on clogged veins in one leg.  She was doing fine and suddendly died of a heart attack.  She was not alone, a friend was with her.  It happened so fast there was nothing the Doctors could do.

Joyce was the G-dmother to Bebe's grandchild and took care of her while her Mother worked. .  Sadly, this child will not have the joy of growing up with these two women who loved her so much.

Thank you so much for the information. I'm sure Joyce will be missed. Such a terrible loss.

I hope to think that I was friends with both Joyce and Royce - and you too - Claudia.  I was one of the "chubby" ones too- always have been-always will be - no matter how hard I work out lol!.  There were a lot of "cliques" in that time - I hope we have all moved beyond that at our older and wiser age. All of our classmates who have gone before us will be well remembered and I believe that all of us still here are wiser and kinder individuals than we were over 50 years ago.

Joyce and I were in home room together. She seemed a bit introvert and I definitely was. We talked some.  The thing I remember about her, though, was her sweet smile. My condolences for her family.
Shirley, you are so right...I guess in a huge school there is no way to avoid cliques and bullying.  I'm  sure it's still going. Hopefully if we experienced some of it, we as parents and grandparents have instilled better behavior in our kids.
