Visitation will be on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Osborn Funeral Home (3631 Southern Ave., Shreveport, LA 71104. 

The funeral will be on Friday, April 21st, 2023 at 9:30 am at the Cathedral of St John Berchmans in the St Michael Chapel (939 Jordan Street, Shreveport LA 71101)

Mrs. Royce Elaine Murray, age 72 passed away on April 12, 2023. Mrs Murray was a retired nurse of almost 40 years, specializing in the care and advocacy of mentally and physically handicapped adults and children. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 20th at Osborn Funeral Home from 5-7:00 pm. A private funeral service for family will begin at 9:30 am on Friday, April 21 at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans in the St Michael Chapel. 

Officiating will be Father Peter assisted by Decon John both of St. John Berchmans. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert Murray. Daughters, Regan Simmons and Kelly Pickell. Grandchildren, Selena and Elijah Simmons. Her sister Robin Huttash and nephew, Benjamin Huttash. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Fannie Hamilton Andrews.
