Ms. Gay Broaddus, 73 of Arlington, TX went to be with Jesus on February 26, 2023.
Gay was born in Texarkana, Arkansas, only because there wasn't a hospital on the Texas side of Texarkana.
Gay grew up in Fort Worth, and graduated from Paschal High School. She attended, and graduated from St. Joseph Hospital LVN program. She worked in Labor and Delivery at JPS Hospital for ten years. She then worked with MHMR at group homes until she retired.
Gay was preceded in death by her Mother, Nancy Ladd Wilson; Step-father, Bill Wilson; Father, Andrew Broaddus; and Sister, Wendy Wilson.
Gay is survived by her wife of 8 years, Tammy Scott Broaddus; Son, Charles Scott and Wife Ashley Scott; Brother, Kirk Broaddus; Sister in-law, Diana Broaddus; 3 nephews, Sam, Tom, and Richie; Chosen daughter; Lexie McAnany; and several friends.
Gay is a member of Agape Metropolitan Community Church.
There will be a gathering following the service at Hickory Stick BBQ, 900 E. Enon Ave, 76140
