CHERYL LEE NAVE SHARP

Cheryl Lee Sharp, 65, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at home after a brave battle with ovarian cancer. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood. Cheryl was born Jan. 18, 1950, in Fort Worth to James Leo and Eula Lee Nave. On Nov. 12, 1976, she married the love of her life, Steven H. Sharp. They were blessed with 39 loving years together. Cheryl was primarily a stay-at-home mom, but did work in retail for several years on and off. She enjoyed spending time with family, quilting and caring for her dogs. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beverly G. Murphy; brothers-in-law, Don W. Murphy and Ray A. Boots; mother-in-law, Barbara A. Sharp; father-in-law, Benjamin F. Sharp; and son-in-law, Michael Wooden. Survivors: Husband, Steven; sister, Nelda M. Boots; daughter, Cynthia D. Morgan and husband, Larry; daughter, Melanie L. Wooden; son, Ryan H. Sharp and wife, Jaymie; grandchildren, Glenn, James, Matthew, Meagan, Rebecca, Grace, Lilly and Nolan; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
