George died on December 17, 1968 during the Tet offensive.  His helicopter was shot down.  He was a door gunner.  I have etched his name from the Viet Nam Memorial in DC.  George was a great guy and a great patriot.

George Arthur Knetsar can be found on the Virtual Wall (www.virtualwall.org) of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.  It appears he died 12/19/70.  Below is what can be copied from the website, and may he know how thankful we are for his service of our country and may he rest in peace.
