William Arthur "Bill Lunsford FORT WORTH--William Arthur "Bill" Lunsford peacefully passed away in Houston on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at the age of 67. INTERMENT: Bill was laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth. MEMORIALS: Memorial donations may be made to Sepsis Alliance, http://www.sepsis.org/ Bill was born in Abilene on June 11, 1950, to Elbert William and Mary Frances Lunsford. Bill graduated from Paschal High School and went on to earn both an undergraduate and master's degree from Texas Tech University. He worked most of his adult life as an independent certified representative for commercial building products. Bill loved playing golf and one of his highlights was playing at St. Andrews, Scotland. He was very kind to all mankind, gentle to his wife, and loved all God's creatures. Most recently, Bill and Deborah had made their home in The Woodlands, Texas. Bill was a lifelong Christian, strong in faith and with an abiding heart full of love. His kind and generous soul touched all who were blessed to have him in their lives, and he will be missed deeply. SURVIVORS: Bill is survived by his loving wife, Deborah, of 32 years. They were married in Fort Worth on May 18, 1985. He also leaves behind his daughter, Alison Whelan and husband, Mark; his brothers, David Lunsford and wife, Pam, Jimmie Lunsford and wife, Lori; his sister, Linda Lunsford Harlow and husband, Michael; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and other relatives; and countless friends.
