Martha died in 1976 or 77 of malignant melanoma. She was a very sweet girl. We were close friends at South Fort Worth Elementary. After her death I used to run into her older sister fairly often. Martha and I had lost touch long before we got to Paschal so I don’t know if she was married or if she had children. I still think of Martha frequently. Her death at such an early age was a terrible tragedy.
