Mr. John Stokes Mitchell II, 67, died on Saturday, April 01, 2017, in Snyder. Mr. Mitchell was born on Sept. 09, 1949, in San Angelo, to Basil and Margaret Szabo Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Amanda Mardell Mitchell. Survivors: Son, John Stokes Mitchell III, of Fort Worth; ex-wife: Marilyn Frederick, of Benbrook; mother-in-Law: Mardell Ribitzki, of Fort Worth; four grandchildren, Whitney Mitchell, Lexi Mitchell, John Mitchell and Lauryn Djeralfia; and brother, Basil S. Mitchell II of Houston.
